BIOGRAPHY

Kirsty and Kester have been holding workshops in dance and music for children for over 16 years. They have been based on the Sunshine Coast for 13 years and have featured at the Woodford Folk Festival Children's Festival as well as other festivals and events for over a decade.

Specialising in creating and performing original songs in an interactive workshop environment for pre-school age kids, they have toured all along the East Coast, including Far North Queensland, the Gulf of Carpentaria, Indigenous communities, rural communities and the main cities.

Children have delighted in being part of a 'rock band' as they play percussion to the ever popular 'I'm a Rock-star'. Turning into butterflies and dragonflies with the coloured scarves stimulates their imaginations and diving under the 'waves' to swim with fishes and dolphins is always an exciting adventure.Through the absolute magic of song and movement, participants meet dinosaurs, fairies and animals as well as learn about time, counting and various musical skills.

The workshops have been in continuous production for 16 years, providing a safe and nurturing space for children (and adults) to contribute to the content. Join Kirsty and Kester for an amazing music and movement extravaganza.
